When I look at Sherlock by Cumberbatch, I always imagine him when he’s having sex. For sure he’s quiet, precise, he knows how many times he should thrust to climax, he knows exactly where to touch to get someone off, he knows when to start and when to finish. Sex is another experiment for Sherlock, nothing emotional, nothing intense. But maybe, just maybe, only when John is around, Sherlock loses his everlasting confidence, and he knows that the single touch from John might put him in pieces. And everything will be emotional, intense and sudden. Without calculations, without experiment. At least till John’s touch lasts.
